Microbiology

AC&T supplies testing of drinking water and wastewater for compliance with Safe Drinking Water Act and NPDES/AZPDES permit compliance. AC&T has provided microbiological analyses for over 250 water systems in the State of Arizona. Other microbiological testing services include identification of biological fouling organisms in surface, irrigation and process waters, source identification of bacteria, bacteria species identification using the BioLog® system, water and soil bacterial standard plate counts, iron and sulfur bacteria analyses, and AMES mutagenicity evaluations. AC&T also provides chlorine, coliform, and heterotrophic plate count testing for new water line approvals.
